Eriska is a SHE 36 built in 1977. Originally purchased for racing by Colin Heaton, and named “Stripper”, she was then sold to Geoffrey Kaye and renamed “Savage” which he later changed to “Sauvage”. William Budd bought “Sauvage” in 1982, refitted her for cruising and renamed her “Nutmeg”. In 1988 Colin Rich bought her, reselling 4 years later to Nick Humphris. Nick kept “Nutmeg” at Milford Haven and during his 16 year ownership carried out extensive works including major repairs to the hull, fitting a complete new rig, converting her to wheel steering and installing a new engine. We purchased her from Nick Humphris in 2008, sailed her to her present home in Oban and gave her the name “Eriska”.
